Reception in Factory
Our facilities in Katerini are capable of processing more than 10,000 tons of olives per year.
Upon receiving the olives in our factory visual control tests are made on each delivery, while random samples are also being sent for chemical analysis. This is to ensure that no heavy metals or pesticides can enter our production chain.
The olives pass the first selection process where the leaves, stems and all damaged fruits are removed. They are then sorted into three main sizes and transferred to tanks so the fermentation process can begin.
The olives which pass through our production facilities are treated with great care by our experienced team.
